PERSONNEL BULLETIN FOR THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)- District-Wide Position in the Office of Pupil Personnel Services JOB DESCRIPTION:Successful experience in behavioral modification, crisis intervention, functional behavior assessment, behavior intervention plans and staff consultation within a school environment.Experience working with students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders and/or social/emotional/ behavioral disabilities.Provide training and support within the school setting assisting with the behavioral needs of the students on caseload.Provide expertise to all faculty in behavior management, including assessment and planning of behavior management strategies as well as consultation and training regarding intervention strategies; In collaboration with faculty, review FBAs and BIPs and assist in classroom implementation as indicated.Analyze data and assist in programming.Participation at CSE meetings to report on data collection, progress toward goals. Requirements:Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certification required.Current and valid New York State School Certification in one or more of the following areas required:New York State School Psychologist Certification.New York State Special Education/Students with Disabilities Certification.Experience with students identified as taking the NYSAA required. Types of PositionProbationary/tenure track position in the area of New York State Certification.Start Date of August 28, 2024.Must be willing to attend New Teacher Orientation on August 26 and 27, 2024 (8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.).
