A successful candidate will be able to:Demonstrate proficiency in teaching band and orchestra instruments to beginning and advanced Scholar musicians.Be available to conduct before and/or after-school band and orchestra rehearsals.Plan and organize school and community music events.Use technology and multimedia tools to enhance and enrich the music curriculum.Provide ongoing and timely feedback to students on their progress towards meeting expectations and achieving goals.Collaborate with colleagues and administrator.Demonstrate experience with directing musical performances. Certifications:New York State Music Certification required. Type of Position:Probationary/ Tenure Track.Start Date of August 30, 2023.Must be willing to attend New Teacher Orientation on August 23 and 24, 2023 (8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.).
