West Canada Valley Central School is located 20 minutes from Utica, in the Kuyahoora Valley, along the banks of the scenic West Canada Creek. Approximately 650 students in grades K-12 are enrolled and housed in a campus facility midway between the historic villages of Newport and Middleville. The district comprises approximately one hundred square miles of beautiful country and farmlands, with its population of 6000, composed of hardworking professional, technical, and agricultural people. The district is seeking a qualified candidate who is currently NYS certified in Family and Consumer Science (7-12) to teach middle/high school classes. This is a probationary tenure-track position with an immediate start date. Salary will be contingent on education and experience and is in accordance with the West Canada Valley Teachers' Association contract.
