POSITION: School Nurse(s) (RN)One (1) Full time 1:1 position –requires extra hours riding the bus before/after school to OU BOCES Regular Hours 7:15am-2:30pm Bus hours approx. 6:30am-7:15am & 2:30pm-4:30pm QUALIFICATIONS: MUST have a valid NYS Registered Nurse LicenseFingerprint clearance JOB DESCRIPTION: Successful candidate will:Demonstrate good knowledge and skill of nursing principles and techniquesDemonstrate strong communication skills including technical, oral and written language.Demonstrate organizational skills involved in record keeping and reportingDemonstrate the ability to get along well with students, teachers, parents, and othersDemonstrate good observation skills; mental alertness; initiative; cheerfulness; patience; emotional stability; sympathetic attitude toward the sick; good moral character; physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.Have the ability to ride student transportation to and from school.
