The Wappingers Central School District is seeking candidates who are well versed in the NYSED Standards for the Arts and who are knowledgeable about best practices for student engagement, to fill an anticipated teaching position for the 2026-27 school year, with an effective start date of September 2, 2026. This is a full-time, probationary tenure-track position. Only those holding a valid NYSED certificate in Art will be considered for the position. Although the certificate required for the position is specific, the school in which the position will be located has yet to be determined. Knowledge of STEAM is preferred. NOTE: Be prepared to upload a valid teaching certificate(s), transcripts and three letters of recommendation (bearing the writers' actual signatures and dated within the last 18 months). No letters of recommendation can be written by a current Wappingers Central School District employee.
