Bouton High School – Voorheesville Middle SchoolVoorheesville Elementary School Notice of Vacancy Bus Drivers The PositionThis posting is a continuous recruitment for school bus drivers (both substitute and permanent) at the Voorheesville Central School District beginning immediately. Drivers work routes for two in-district public schools, and provide transportation for district children going to private schools, to Special Education placements and for district field trips and athletic events on an as-needed basis. Training available for qualified candidates! Salary per UEV Contract Hours Hours may vary: Generally from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. September – June QualificationsHigh school graduate or possession of GED.Class B license with passenger and school bus endorsements preferred but not required.Drivers with CDL Class B permit will be trained.Neat appearance.There will be a background check, drug testing and fingerprinting (as required by law).Physical condition commensurate with demands of the position.Must be reliable and able to work school attendance days.
