The Teaching Assistants will work with Building Administrators to support students in a supervisory capacity. The salary is as noted in the current UEV contract. QualificationsMust be certified as a teaching assistant.Experience working effectively with MS/HS students with a variety of disabilities and special needs preferred.Solid understanding of classroom activities and teaching best practices.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Excellent work habits and employment attendance history.Physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.Excellent references. General DutiesProvide support and supervision to students.If assigned to a special education role, assist teacher and related service providers in the implementation of the students’ individual education plans.Monitor and assist students in all aspects of the school day.Ensure the classroom environment is safe and clean.
