The Special Education Teacher’s duties will include providing individualized instruction for students with special needs in the areas of reading, writing and math in addition to providing support to classroom staff in the areas of program modifications and inclusion. Qualifications Fully certified as a Special Education Teacher in New York State.Background in Literacy preferred. 3. Excellent health, work habits, and employment attendance history.4. Previous school experience preferred. 5. Physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position. General Duties Provide support to special education students.Work closely with teaching assistants and related service providers to ensure students maximum success.Develop and Implement IEPsProgress monitor individual goals Application Procedures- Apply through OLAS or: 1.
