The salary and benefits for this position are stated in the current teacher contract. QualificationsMasters Degree in Social Work.Licensed Clinical Social Worker preferred. LMSW would be considered.Previous experience in a school setting preferred.Physical abilities commensurate with the position requirements.Dedicated to teaching and to students.Good college record and excellent references. DutiesProvide family and individual services for students at risk in the district.Focus on skills for special needs students.Provide counseling for students with behavioral or emotional issues or students in crisis.Assist in linking families and students to community agencies.Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team in evaluating and developing intervention plans for students in general education and students with disabilities with mental health needs.Collaborate with School Psychologist and School Counselor to provide social emotional support to students as needed.Follow-up on parenting forums.
