Virginia Road School is seeking a compassionate, dedicated and skilled K-2 Special Education teacher for the 2024-2025 School Year. This is a probationary position. The ideal candidate should have:- NYS Special Education Certification- Experience working in an elementary special education self-contained setting - Ability to work collaboratively with service providers, classroom aides and families - Experience developing and implementing individual education plans (IEPs) that cater to the specific needs of each student- Experience participating within the CSE process- Strong communication skills
