The Valhalla Schools are seeking a Probationary Elementary Teacher:Qualifications Include:- NYS Certification Required- Early Childhood Education Birth - 2nd & 1st - 6th Grade Childhood Education- Current Elementary Teaching Experience Required (K-2)- Additional Teaching Certifications Preferred- Experience planning and delivering engaging lessons that align with current curricular programs and NYS educational standards- Being familiar with a variety of assessments and using data to monitor student progress and inform instructional decisions- Creating a positive and inclusive environment that encourages student participation and engagement- Differentiating instruction to meet the diverse learning needs within the classroom- Providing ongoing communication with families to provide updates on progress and increase involvement in child's education- Collaborating with other teachers and staff members to ensure a coordinated and cohesive response to student's needs- Experience using technology and multimedia resources to enhance learning and engage students- Being passionate about teaching and learning and being a continuous learner- Being an active member of the overall school community- Previous applicants need not apply
