Per Diem Physical Therapist – Extended School Year (ESY) Position Title : Per Diem Physical Therapist (ESY)Assignment Dates: July 6th–August 14th 2026 Schedule: Flexible, based on student IEP mandates ( may include home-based services) Position Overview : The Valley Central School District is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide services during the Extended School Year (ESY) program. Services will be delivered in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and may include homebound instruction settings. Responsibilities : Provide physical therapy services as mandated on student IEPs Conduct sessions in ESY program locations and/or home settings as assigned Maintain accurate service logs and session documentation in compliance with NYSED and district requirements Collaborate with the Committee on Special Education (CSE), related service providers, and families as appropriate Participate in progress monitoring and contribute to required reporting Qualifications : Current New York State license as a Physical Therapist required Experience in pediatric and/or school-based settings preferred Familiarity with IEP development and implementation Ability to work independently and flexibly across settings Address letters of interest to Afiya Rowlins, Director of Special Education
