Experience with library management systems. Possess innovative ideas to organize books and library material in ways that capture the interests of students. Ability to organize, catalog, and maintain library materials and digital resources. Motivation to establish the library as a community space within the school building. Ability to integrate educational technology, online research databases, and multimedia tools. Has a repertoire of strategies to motivate students to cultivate a reading identity and develop a love for reading. Ability to develop and implement engaging, accessible, and standards-based lessons. Ability to create a positive, inclusive, and encouraging library environment Ability to differentiate library lessons to meet the needs and interests of students. Ability to communicate effectively with students, colleagues, parents, and caregivers. Ability to support classroom teachers by integrating library resources into curricular work.
