The Dean of Academic Intervention Services will work with the Middle School Administrative Team to lead initiatives around school culture, restorative justice, socio-emotional learning and student management. This individual will work closely with the middle school principal to establish a positive, inclusive and student-centered culture that promotes academic and social success for all learners. Major Responsibilities: Prepares Master ScheduleCoordinates crisis management and develops plans to foster and maintain a positive school climate Manages systems that support student safety during hallway passing, entry, dismissal and mealtimes Meets with students, families and guardians to mediate conflict and plan for student successSupports teachers and other school personnel in empowering students to achieve successSupervises instruction for assigned department
