The positions that would be covered have work schedules of Monday through Friday during 1st and 2nd shifts. Fingerprinting required. All Civil Service laws, rules and regulations apply.Civil Service Classification: Non-Competitive. Merit and fitness competitive examination does not apply.Rate of pay: $20.00/hourGENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:The work involves responsibility for the performance of building cleaning and minor maintenance tasks. The work is carried out in accordance with established procedures or specific instructions and involves repetitive manual work. This class differs from that of Custodian in that Custodial Worker is unskilled entry-level work, whereas Custodian functions at a higher level and has greater responsibility. The work is performed under the direct supervision of a higher level employee. Supervision over the work of others is not normally a function of the class. Does related work, as required.WORK SCHEDULE:Part time, 12 Month Monday through Friday 1st shift: 7am to 3pm2nd shift: 3pm to 11pmSPECIFIC DUTIES: The typical work activities listed below, while providing representative examples of the variety of work assignments in the title do not describe any individual position.
