Ulster BOCES is seeking an experienced, organized, and resourceful Reading Specialist for our student-based programs. The teacher will provide 1:1 and small-group student reading intervention as well as professional development to teachers. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, experience and knowledge with guided reading, literacy centers, phonics, comprehension, and fluency, and be comfortable with facilitating professional development and coaching. Experience with special education populations is desirable. In addition, the candidate must demonstrate successful presentation, organizational, and time management skills. Current position is full-time.
