It’s a fun, collegial atmosphere with a great group of coworkers-spending your days doing meaningful work!The Speech Therapist is responsible to evaluate and assess program participants, educate individuals and team members, complete required documentation, communicate with other health care professionals on the program participants’ IPP/IEP, assist with departmental maintenance and supplies, participate in Agency activities, assist in orientation to the department and assist with equipment adaptation.Preschool/New Discoveries Learning Center: Our students present with a wide variety of physical, intellectual, communication, and social-emotional challenges. We support child specific multidisciplinary and evidence-based approach to treatment.Education/Licensure Requirements:· Masters in Speech-Language Pathology· Valid New York State license and registration as a Speech-Language Pathologist.· Certificate Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology or Eligibility
