THREE VILLAGE CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT STONY BROOK, NEW YORK 11790 ANTICIPATED VACANCY 2026-2027 PROBATIONARY POSITION ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL Applications are being accepted for the following anticipated vacancy: Assistant Principal at Gelinas Middle School. Prerequisites for the position are: New York State certification SDA/SBL/SDL Middle school experience preferred Master scheduling experience preferred Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: Provide collaborative leadership for rigorous and challenging academic programs for all students, through sound student-centered decision making Monitor individual professional development plans at secondary level Curriculum development and instructional supervision Interview, coordinate, and assign observers, student teachers, and interns at the building Monitor and coordinate co-curricular program, activities, and field trips Coordinate local and state data reporting Assist in supervision of non-instructional and instructional personnel Ø Use of student management software Ø Address the concerns of students, parents and staff Ø Facilitate parent/teacher, student/teacher conferences Start date: July 1, 2026 Salary is in accordance with TVSAA contract.
