The candidate should be familiar with the Next Generation Standards, all Elementary District Initiatives and Programs, such as Go Math K-6, Lucy Calkins Reading & Writing Units of Study, Balanced Literacy approach to reading instruction, Aimsweb and SRI for RTI universal screening, the NY State Social Studies Framework, K-6, Fundations and Responsive Classroom. Dual certification is preferred. The candidate should be flexible in teaching kindergarten through sixth grade and be dual certified. Salary will be BA, Step, of the Three Village Teachers Association (TVTA) contract. This position does not receive benefits.
