THREE VILLAGE CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICTSTONY BROOK, NEW YORK 11790 ANTICIPATED VACANCY 2022-2023 PROBATIONARY POSITIONASSISTANT PRINCIPALApplications are being accepted for the following anticipated vacancy: Assistant Principal at Ward Melville High School.Prerequisites for the position are:New York State certification SDA/SBL/SDL.Demonstrated leadership experience with a minimum of 3 years as a secondary administrator.Demonstrated expertise in the use of data to structure master schedule to meet student program needs.Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: Provide collaborative leadership for rigorous and challenging academic programs for all students, through sound student-centered decision makingMonitor individual professional development plans at secondary levelCurriculum development and instructional supervisionInterview, coordinate, and assign observers, student teachers, and interns on secondary levelMonitor and coordinate co-curricular program, activities, and field tripsCoordinate B.E.D.S and V.A.D.I.R. reportingAssist in supervision of non-instructional and instructional personnelParticipate in professional development activitiesShare in identification and monitoring of student progressØ Use of student management softwareØ Address the concerns of students, parents and staffØ Facilitate parent/teacher, student/teacher conferences Anticipated start date: August 15, 2022 Salary is in accordance with TVSAA contract.
