Job Posting: Special Education Teacher – Extended School Year (ESY) – Extended School Year (ESY) Position: Special Education Teacher – ESY Program Location: Tuckahoe UFSD, Elementary, Middle & High School Program Dates: July 1 – August 11, 2026 Days/Hours: Monday through Friday schedule, 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM Compensation: As Per Contract Job Summary Tuckahoe Union Free School District is seeking a qualified and dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students during the Extended School Year (ESY) program. This position focuses on providing specialized instruction and behavioral support to students with disabilities to prevent regression and promote continued academic and social-emotional development. Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is required. Job Description The Special Education Teacher is responsible for delivering individualized and small-group instruction aligned with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). The teacher will implement evidence-based instructional and behavioral strategies, including ABA methodologies, to support student learning and behavior. This role requires collaboration with related service providers and support staff to ensure consistent and effective programming.
