This is a part-time position with co-teaching responsibilities across various content areas at the secondary level (grades 6–12).Responsibilities:Collaborate with general education teachers to co-plan and co-deliver instruction in inclusive classrooms.Provide differentiated instruction and support to meet the diverse learning needs of students with IEPs.Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals.Participate in CSE meetings and contribute to IEP development.Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.Uphold high standards for student achievement and behavior.Qualifications:Valid New York State Certification in Students with Disabilities (Grades 7–12) required.Experience or demonstrated interest in co-teaching and collaboration.Strong content knowledge.Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and compliance.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Schedule:Part-time, 0.5 FTEPotential for an expanded schedule that would include building substitute responsibilities for the remainder of the school day.
