TITLE: INSTRUCTIONAL SPECIALIST for TECHNOLOGY INTEGRATIONCertified Position10-Month, Full-Time Position (190 Days)Affiliation: Non-Affiliated/CertifiedRegional School SuccessLocation: J-Building and Various DistrictsPositions follows the 10-month school calendar plus through the end of June. Works 190 days and does not accrue vacation days.DUTIES:Work with K-12 educators to design and implement curriculum that enhances student learning and aligns with NYS standards, particularly the Computer Science and Digital Fluency standards;Provide mentorship, consultation, and coaching to teachers to improve their instructional practice;Organize and conduct workshops and training sessions, both in-person and virtually, to foster professional growth for educators in a variety of topics;Assist district staff with data analysis to identify trends and recommend instructional improvements;Develop and share educational materials and resources, particularly technology resources, to support students with diverse learning needs;Assist in integrating technology effectively into K-12 classrooms to enhance teaching and learning experiences;Support educators in integrating Library of Things resources into their instruction, and;Other duties as assigned by the Director of Regional School Success.QUALIFICATIONS:New York State (NYS) Permanent or Professional Teaching Certification required.A minimum of three years of successful teaching or similar experience.Current knowledge of research and best practices relating to the Danielson Framework for Teaching, the Culturally Responsive-Sustaining Education Framework, NYS K-12 Computer Science and Digital Fluency Standards, NYSED content area learning standards for students, and professional learning standards for educators.START DATE: March 31, 2025 or as soon as possibleSALARY HIRING RANGE: $55,250 - $65,000 (2024-2025 Range) 10-Month position; Position follows the 10-month school calendar plus through the end of June.Works 190 days and does not accrue vacation days.
