Our learning community values our ethnic, social and cultural diversity.Troy City School District has an opening for a Special Education Teacher at PS16 with experience working with students who have moderate language, cognition and motor needs is preferred. Experience with teaching through adapting methods, materials and technology to meet students' individual needs and abilities within a special class setting. The ability to work collaboratively with teaching assistants and related service providers to meet the needs of students is required. Position is full-time, probationary, and will begin May 2025. Must have valid NYS certification. Step salary based on experience and TTA contract.
