Special Education Teacher - Self-Contained 12:1:2 K-2 Multi-Needs ClassroomWith approximately 4,000 students, Troy is a small urban school district in NY’s Capital Region. Our learning community values our ethnic, social and cultural diversity.The Troy City School District has an opening for a Self-Contained Special Education Teacher with experience working with students who have moderate language, cognition and motor needs is preferred. Experience with teaching through adapting methods, materials and technology to meet students' individual needs and abilities within a special class setting. The ability to work collaboratively with teaching assistants and related service providers to meet the needs of students is required. The position will be assigned to PS #16. This position is full-time, probationary and will begin November 2024. Must have valid NYS certification. Salary is based on experience and TTA contract
