Trumansburg Central School District is hiring for an English as a New Language Teacher (ENL). The ENL Teacher will be responsible for teaching students in various grade levels, providing co-teaching support for general education teachers and developing ENL curriculum appropriate to the NYS mandated regulations for services and the grade/ability levels of the student being taught. The ENL teacher will be familiar with best practices for language acquisition and Culturally Responsive-Sustaining Education. The ENL teacher will maintain appropriate student records and is responsible for assessing students per NYS regulations. The ENL teacher must be flexible and able to work as a member of a team. The teacher will perform other duties as assigned.Offering competitive and commensurate salary beginning at $53,215 per year, increasing with graduate credits/degree and New York State teaching experience.
