Job DescriptionThe Child School/Legacy High School is a NY state approved Non-public school for students with learning challenges in grades K-12.We are located on picturesque Roosevelt Island in New York city. For the 2022 fall session, we are seeking a Science teacher for our Middle School Program.Our students, with support and guidance from our faculty and specialists, and enrolled in small classes with ratio of 12:1:1, transition to post secondary college options. Candidates with Science NYS certification in grades 7-12 should apply. Candidates with Generalist certification (5-9) or (7-12) are also eligible. Candidates with pending certifications can also apply.
