John Paulding School Preferred candidates should be able to: Create a nurturing and supportive early childhood classroom environment that promotes learning and growth. Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive and respectful learning atmosphere. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive educational experience for students. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students’ progress, behavior, and any concerns. Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events as required. Familiarity with the Science of Reading methodologies (Fundations/Heggerty) CERTIFICATION : Birth – Grade 2 or Common Branch K-6 DATES: September 4, 2026 – October 10, 2026 RATE: $150 per diem for the 1st 30 working days, $320 per diem as of the 31st working day
