Sleepy Hollow High School Social Studies Teacher Description: The Public Schools of the Tarrytowns are seeking candidates at Sleepy Hollow High School. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of the NYS Social Studies Framework and the CRE Framework, demonstrate an understanding of effective pedagogical practices that promote a student-centered learning environment, have experience working with a diverse student population, and feel comfortable integrating technology as an instructional and learning tool. The candidate must hold NYS certification in Social Studies (Gr. 7 – 12); dual certification in SWD or ELL a plus. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
