Washington Irving Elementary SchoolSpecial Education TeacherThe successful candidate will understand, plan, and align instruction with students’ IEP program goals and expected outcomes. Successful candidates will possess a deep knowledge and understanding of behavioral principles, communication strategies, and classroom management techniques that are developmentally appropriate. The candidate must be adept at using a standards-based curriculum adapted to students’ needs while also collaborating with, managing, and supporting Teacher Assistants and Teacher Aide(s).
