Assistant Principal Syosset High School Available on July 1, 2026 The Syosset Central School District seeks an Assistant Principal to join the High School leadership team. The role involves various aspects of building operations, including, but not limited to, student management and departmental responsibilities. This 12-month position has a four-year probationary period. The Assistant Principal reports directly to the High School Principal. The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications: Hold valid NYS School Building Leader (SBL) certification Successful building-level administrative experience preferred Prior successful experience in a certified professional role at the high school level (e.g., teacher, counselor, psychologist, etc.) Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills Ability to successfully collaborate and communicate with a highly respected faculty, staff, and school community Salary as per the Syosset Principals Association Contract Please submit an application, resume, and cover letter on OLAS to the attention of: Dr. Giovanni Durante Principal Syosset High School P.O.
