Behavior Analyst (BCBA)Syosset Elementary SchoolsAvailable on August 27, 2024The Syosset Central School District seeks a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the Syosset Elementary Schools. This anticipated vacancy is a probationary appointment. The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required- NYS Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) required - Prior successful experience teaching in a range of Special Education settings at the Elementary level preferred- NYS School Psychologist or Special Education Certification preferred- Experience with writing Functional Behavioral Assessments and developing Behavior Intervention Plans- Preferred certification and/or training in CPI- Experience working with students with significant needs that require special class settings. - Exemplary understanding of IEP development and implementation- Experience administering NYS Alternate Assessments- Expertise in differentiated instruction to support the success of all students- Possess innovative skills using instructional technology- Exemplary organizational and multitasking abilities- Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills- Ability to collaborate with a highly respected faculty and staffPlease submit an application, resume, and cover letter on OLAS by April 25, 2024 to the attention of:Erin GoldthwaiteAssistant Superintendent for Pupil Personnel ServiceSyosset Central School DistrictP.O.
