DESCRIPTION : Susquehanna Valley is seeking a Special Education Teacher who is committed to high expectations and individualized support for every student. This role includes implementing modified curriculum aligned to NYS graduation requirements while delivering instruction that strengthens both academic achievement and social-emotional growth, whether in a 15:1:1 classroom, co-teaching setting, or through direct or indirect consultant teacher services. The teacher will intentionally embed career readiness and life skills into daily instruction and actively support our student-run-work-based learning enterprise, the Morning Dunk Kafe, to build authentic workforce skills and independence. Strong collaboration is essential for participating in CSE meetings, monitoring IEP progress, and working closely with staff to ensure student-centered programming that prepares students for graduation.
