DESCRIPTION : Including, but not limited to: Director of Health, Physical Education and Athletics duties : Coordinate Health and Physical Education Program, PK-12 Implement all requirements for curriculum and instruction of Health and Physical Education Administer interscholastic athletics for the district Supervise staff, including Health and Physical Education teachers, coaches & school nurses Act as a liaison between the school district and community partners Establish positive relationships with students, parents and community members Middle School Assistant Principal duties : Assist with administration of NYS Assessments Be knowledgeable of middle level practices, including progressive discipline model Maintain active involvement in building and/or district committees Coordinate co-curricular activities Work cooperatively with Pupil Personnel Team Establish positive relationships with students, parents and community members NYS CERTIFICATIONS : School District Administrator and/or School Administrator & Supervisor -OR- School District Leader and/or School Building Leader Physical Education WORK YEAR : 12 Months SALARY: $92,000 + DOE START DATE: July 1, 2026 APPLICATION DEADLINE : March 27, 2026, or until position is filled APPLY TO : Dr. Catherine Kacyvenski Assistant Superintendent of Schools Susquehanna Valley CSD P.O.
