ANNOUNCEMENT OF VACANCY POSITION: Special Education Teacher Grades 7-12 (2 Positions) AVAILABLE: Immediately DUTIES: Serve as Special Education teacher at the Jr./Sr. high school level; plan and provide for appropriate learning experiences for students with disabilities in a variety of educational settings. Participate in curriculum development; assume general supervisory duties as assigned by the superintendent; carry out other duties as may, from time to time, be assigned by the Director of Curriculum and Student Services/CSE Chair, Building Principal or Superintendent. QUALIFICATIONS: Must have appropriate certification (Students with Disabilities, Grades 7-12) and pass fingerprint/background check by NY State Education Department. REPORTS TO: Director of Curriculum and Student Services/CSE Chair, Building Administrator, Superintendent WORKS WITH: Students, faculty, administration, parents and community SALARY: As per OESJAP salary schedule APPLICATIONS: Applications may be submitted through OLAS DEADLINE: January 27, 2023
