The Spencer-Van Etten Central School District is hiring a full-time Library Media Specialist. The teacher will create and maintain an educational atmosphere that encourages effective student learning and supports school and district programs and goals K-12. Must ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information; empower students to be critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, skillful researchers, and ethical users of information; collaborate with classroom teachers to design and implement units of instruction and assess student learning on a district-wide level.
