The Spencer-Van Etten Central School District is hiring a full-time social worker as part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team of professionals. Potential responsibilities include working with individual students, small skills groups, and families; Collaborating with teachers, community support systems and outside agencies; Implementing intervention and prevention programs which may include but are not limited to suicide prevention, conflict resolution, crisis intervention, violence and substance abuse intervention and character education. Candidates are expected to have a license or certification in social work, counseling or school psychology.
