The Spencer-Van Etten Central School District is hiring a full-time Agriculture Teacher. This position will create and maintain an educational atmosphere that encourages effective student learning and supports school and district programs and goals. Will facilitate student success and growth in Agriculture education and interpersonal skills through implementing district approved curriculum; document teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; create a flexible, safe, and optimal learning environment; and provide feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc. Will assume a responsible role in public and professional relations by actively participating in agricultural community organizations. Will assist in refining district vision related to programming and build local community partnerships to create authentic service-learning opportunities.
