The Spencer-Van Etten Central School District is hiring a full-time Secondary Math Teacher. This position, under the general supervision of the school principal, will create and maintain an educational atmosphere that encourages effective student learning and supports school and district programs and goals. Will demonstrate a desire to meaningfully integrate technology into the classroom; employ a variety of teaching methods to engage different learning styles and ability levels in the classroom, prepare motivating and stimulating lessons that reflect knowledge of the curriculum, child development, and student abilities; use data to drive decisions to provide feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations and goals, etc. Qualified candidates will need to have completed a 7-12 Mathematics Program and hold a certificate in Mathematics 7-12.We offer a full benefits package including health insurance, flex benefits, tuition reimbursement, paid sick and personal days.This position is grant-funded through June 2024.
