BOARD CERTIFIED BEHAVIOR ANALYST (BCBA) ELEMENTARY LEVEL EFFECTIVE - AUGUST 31, 2026 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: New York State Certification in Special Education / School Psychologist WITH Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification QUALIFICATIONS: Previous experience working with children with disabilities Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (BCBA) required. Experience conducting functional behavior assessments and developing behavior intervention plans. RESPONSIBILITIES : Provide behavioral consultation in one of our elementary schools Assist in development of our 6:1:2 Special Class Program Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and develop Behavior Intervention Plans Attend CSE and team meetings Train staff on behavioral strategies, data collection and other necessary functions Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to implement behavior intervention strategies across various settings Communicate regularly with families and provide updates on student progress Conduct re-evaluation assessments SALARY : As per SHTA negotiated agreement
