21st CCLC Program Director Positions Available These are primarily after-school/Summer Positions 1) Walt Whitman High School, 2) Oakwood and Countrywood Primary Centers EFFECTIVE July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027 POSITIONS: (2) one for the High School Program and one for the Kindergarten program, with some overlap. REQUIREMENTS: ? Excellent interpersonal, communication, and computer skills; detail-oriented; ability to meet deadlines ? New York State Certified Teacher, Administrators, Social Worker, School Counselor HOURS: Primary Program: Summer Hours 8:30-11:30 July 6th through August 7th September 1-June 30, hours 2:30-6 PM after school, with flexibility and some tasks that occur outside of these hours DESCRIPTION: The 21st CCLC grant funds academic and enrichment programs for students in grades 9-12 at Walt Whitman High School, and for Kindergarten students at Countrywood and Oakwood Primary Centers. Specific Responsibilities of the Program Directors include: Planning and oversight of after-school programs for students in grades 9-12 at Walt Whitman High School Planning and oversight of after-school programs and summer programs for Kindergarten students at Countrywood and Oakwood Primary Centers Working with teachers, guidance counselors, case workers, students, and school principals to design an exciting and engaging schedule of activities Maintaining all program records and data; working with a state evaluator to perform ongoing data analysis throughout the year and at year's end Daily oversight of programs and staff while programs are in operation after school and summer; there is flexibility throughout the school year, but you need to be on-call or on-site during the Summer Session Supervising all program staff, including Site Coordinators, Teachers/Tutors, Enrichment Specialists, and other staff to ensure program goals and objectives are met Coordinating several 21st CCLC committee meetings throughout the school year with our providers, partners, parents, coordinators, and student members Developing and maintaining a schedule for project-based learning, academic, recreational, career development, and extracurricular activities Building and maintaining relationships with program partners, families, community members, and meeting regularly with school administrators, partners, and stakeholders Working with the Evaluation team to conduct program evaluation and performance measurement. Developing student and family outreach, recruitment, and retention plans Attendance at the mandatory conference, two times per year. One conference is in the fall, and the other is in the Spring at either the University of Binghamton or in Albany SALARY: $ 50,000 Annual Stipend to be split between two positions
