NON-INSTRUCTIONAL POSITION AVAILABLEMAINTENANCE STOCK CLERKFACILITIES DEPARTMENTEFFECTIVE: OCTOBER 2025 HOURS: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Applicants manually move, store, and handle bulk materials while a supervisor monitors their work. Employees perform various warehousing duties, such as filing requisitions, taking inventory, checking goods for damage, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. They can also offer advice and guidance to workers during specialized tasks. DUTIES: Move and store bulk materials using appropriate equipment (e.g., pulley blocks, ramps, forklifts, and hydraulic jacks); issue supplies and equipment; keep records of materials and SDS sheets. Receive and store items in the warehouse by checking for damage. Operate necessary equipment. Plan and allocate space in the warehouse for optimal and safe storage of materials. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to follow written and oral instructions; two (2) years of experience in handling bulk materials, including the use of forklifts and other bulk loading devices. REQUIREMENTS: Possession of an appropriate license issued by the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles for the type of vehicle to be operated; employees must hold a license while on duty.SALARY: $71,842
