10-MONTH NON-INSTRUCTIONAL POSITION AVAILABLEFOOD PRODUCTION COORDINATOREFFECTIVE: FEBRUARY 2025 HOURS: 7:00am - 3:00pm (1/2 hr. unpaid lunch) RESPONSIBILITIES: Work directly with the School Nutrition Director as well as district lead chefs. Supervision of work conducted by district wide food service employees. Provide mentoring opportunities to staff, oversee day to day operations of the kitchen. Work collaboratively to share best practices. SKILLS REQUIRED: Minimum 4 years’ experience in large-scale kitchen operations i.e., preparation of the food for commercial, institution or food enterprise. Ability to judge food quantities required in preparing the required number of meals. Working knowledge of large-scale kitchen equipment. Experience in management of large kitchen staff. Thorough knowledge of materials, methods with all kitchen equipment * All applicants will need to meet all requirements for Civil Service approval
