FULL-TIME 12-MONTH POSITION AVAILABLE MAINTENANCE MECHANIC IIIFACILITIES DEPARTMENT EFFECTIVE November 2022 HOURS: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm Preferred: Electrician DUTIES: Skilled mechanic in major craft, knowledge in the use and care of tools, materials and equipment of the tradeExperience exercising independent judgement in determining materials and methods to be used in the performance of specific assignments and experience in actively participating in the various levels of a given project, from initial planning through implementation and completion.Participates in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, masonry, painting and mechanical repair and renovations. QUALIFICATIONS: Either: (a) One (1) year of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic II (b) Four (4) years of experience in building maintenance or trades, (2) of which involved skilled trades work NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENT: Depending on the nature of the assignment, at the time of appointment and during employment in this title, candidates may be required to possess a valid New York State driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle to be operated. SALARY: $78,228
