One (1) year of experience assisting in office work and patient-contact services in a health facility, clinic, physician's office or similar setting; or 2. Possession of a license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse or possession of an Emergency Medical Technician Certificate. SPECIAL REQUIREMENT: Completion of an approved basic first aid course before the end of the probationary period. It is the responsibility of the appointing authority to ensure the course is completed. * Candidates must be Rockland County Residents, sit for the School Health Aide Civil Service test and be reachable on the list OR be in a SOCSD position within the Promotional Field or hold the title.
