The Southampton UFSD is looking for a skilled individual to support the Special Education department as a part-time Committee on Special Education (CSE) Chairperson in our K-12 programs during the annual review season (December- June). This position will be compensated per diem ($600) and work up to 2 days a week. Ideal candidates will have:Proven experience chairing CSE meetingsA background in both elementary and secondary educationPreferred certification and experience as a school psychologist or special education administratorExpertise in Part 200 of the Regulations of the CommissionerExperience with utilizing IEP DirectStrong ability to conduct legally compliant CSE meetings and collaborate effectively with staff, students, and familiesInterested candidates should submit an application via the OLAS portal and include a cover letter addressed to Jaime Bottcher, Ed.D., Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction.
