Major responsibilities include: SST Coordinator Testing Coordinator for PSAT, AP Exams and NYS Regents Exams Counseling Department Liaison (Counseling Curriculum Support, College & Career Fairs, Grading Verifications) Coordination of building professional developmentMaster Scheduling Coordination and assisting in the development of the high school master schedule teacher\teaching assistant assignmentsDepartment Budget Support Encore Departments’ Coordination Employee Hiring Support Prospective Student ToursClubs & Extra Curricular ActivitiesEvaluate teachers and staff through a deep knowledge of current trends and best practices in secondary educationAct as summer school principal for the Extended School Year ProgramImplement instructional and assessment strategies by attending meetings, facilitating discussions amongst teachers and staff and working with the Principal on school and District goalsPromote a positive, caring climate for learning through an understanding of social and emotional learning, special education programming and Part 154 programmingPerform other duties as assigned by the PrincipalDiverse and bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to applyRequirements: Candidates must hold a valid (not pending) NYS School Building Leader Certificate.
