The district is seeking an outstanding instructional leader for the position of Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction and Accountability. The successful candidate must demonstrate an ability to bring diverse groups to consensus and possess an accomplished background in instructional strategies, curriculum development, and technology.Responsibilities:• Knowledge of NYS P-12 Common Core and NYS Next Generation Learning Standards• Knowledge of NYS Assessments K-12• Skillful in the use of data to inform instruction• Develop, implement and monitor curriculum and programs in conjunction with State guidelines and District priorities• Skillful in Curriculum Development• Supervise and evaluate Administrators and other staff as determined by the Superintendent• Interview and recommend prospective individuals as openings occur• Knowledge of Teaching and Learning Theories• Knowledge of School Improvement Process• Knowledge of Restorative Practices and SEL programs• Provide Professional Development and Staff Trainings as needed.• Leadership in the use of Educational Technology• Proficient in written and oral communication, planning, organization, leadership and public relations• Ability to effectively manage leadership teams• Manage budget and skillful in the grant writing process• Other duties as assigned by the SuperintendentRequisites:• School District Leader (SDL) Certification or equivalent• Proven Building and/or District Leadership experience• Central Office experience preferredGeneral: Salary: CompetitiveStart Date: April 2025Application: Apply no later than Feb. 7, 2025Apply on OLASInclude: Letter, Resume and Certification attention Mr. Jason E.
