The School Psychologist should have a thorough knowledge of NYS special education programs, services and Part-200 and Part 201 Regulations. The School Psychologist will be expected to work collaboratively with special education teachers, support staff, administrators, parents and students. The School Psychologist will be responsible for chairing CSE meetings and will develop procedures and a calendar to coordinate CSE (annual review / program review/ placement) meetings for students. The School Psychologist will be responsible for initial and reevaluation testing. The school psychologist will be expected to perform other duties as assigned by the principal and/or Director of Special Education.
