South Country Central School District has anticipated an opening for Probationary Speech Therapist. We are currently seeking a compassionate and qualified individual to join our team as a School Speech Therapist. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping students overcome speech or language challenges in an educational setting. Conduct evaluations and make recommendations for speech services for student with speech or language impairments. Develop individual speech sessions based on student needs and goals.Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success in the classroom. Progress monitor student progress towards IEP goals and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders. Stay current on best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology. Appropriate NYS Certificate required. Experience working with school-aged child with speech or language impairments. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
